Summary:

• Schedule: Full-time nights, 3×12s weekly (7:00p–7:30a, includes sign-out)

• On-call: None | Schedule type: Flexible

• Setting: Multi-specialty med-surg community hospital ICU

• Patient load: Typical 10–15 ICU pts per APP (attending MD also available)

• Local candidates preferred/required

• EMR: Cerner

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage critically ill patients in a high-acuity ICU

• Collaborate with attending MDs; develop and update plan of care

• Perform ongoing assessments; implement interventions

• Order entry and documentation of H&Ps, Consults, Event/Follow-up & Procedure notes

• Interpret diagnostics; coordinate with ICU nursing

• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds each shift

• Perform invasive procedures: central lines (CVLs/vascaths/introducers) and arterial lines per MSO credentialing

Qualifications:

• NPs must be Acute Care–certified (ACNP); PAs with equivalent scope

• Active national certification and state licensure (or ability to obtain)

• 1–2+ years ICU APP experience

• Demonstrated proficiency with central and arterial line insertions (case logs required during credentialing)
