The Role
This full-time locum opportunity is based at the Marshall campus and offers a 12-month assignment with flexible monthly shifts. You’ll work alongside dedicated NPs/PAs with solid physician coverage, in a well-structured emergency setting.
• Start Date: July 2025
• Assignment Length: 1 year
• Shifts: Minimum of 5 shifts/month required
• Board Certification Required: ABEM only
• Residency Requirement: EM residency-trained only
• Certifications: Not required if ABEM certified
• Facility Acceptance: Marshall is one of two sites (with Kilgore) currently accepting locum coverage
• Alternative Boards (e.g., ABPS): Not accepted
Staffing & Schedule Details:
• Physician Coverage: Average of 25.86 MD hours/day
• NP/PA Coverage: Average of 11.29 NPPA hours/day
• Physician Shift Times:
o Monday: 7a–4p, 1p–9p, 9p–7a
o Sunday, Tuesday–Thursday: 7a–3p, 2p–10p, 9p–7a
