Position Overview

Optigy is seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum assignment in El Paso, TX. This position offers flexible scheduling in a modern emergency department serving a diverse patient population. Physicians should be comfortable in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and capable of delivering efficient, high-quality emergency care.

Requirements

• Active Texas medical license and TX DEA

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine

• Completion of an accredited residency program

• Must have active clinical practice experience within the past 12 months

• Current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, and PALS preferred

• Clean file required for presentation

Responsibilities

• Provide full-spectrum emergency care to patients of all ages

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and emergent medical conditions

• Work collaboratively with nursing staff and APPs to ensure patient throughput and quality care

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR

• Deliver professional, evidence-based medical care in alignment with Optigy and facility standards

Position Details

• Start Date: December 20, 2025

• Schedule: Flexible 12-hour shifts

• On-call: No

• Telehealth: No

• Daily OT after 12 hours; Weekly OT after 168 hours

• Estimated Credentialing Timeline: 60 days
