- Coverage Needs:
- Need ASAP – Ongoing
- 7 on – 7 off
- 7a-7p
- Shifts:
- 8a-8p OR 8p-8a
- Setting:
- Must be Respiratory/Critical Care experienced with procedures as this is 100% IP based
- Census:
- 86-bed Acute Care hospital / 10 ICU beds
- Procedures:
- Moderate SedationLumbar Puncture
- Lumbar Puncture
- Endotracheal Intubation and Extubation
- Paracentesis/Thoracentesis
- Ventilator Management including Assessing Readiness for and Administering Respiratory Weaning/Oxygen Therapy and Extubation. Assessing need for Intubation
- Chest Tube Insertion
- Insertion of PICC Lines, Arterial Lines, Central Venous Lines either percutaneously or by cut down
- Arterial Line Insertion and Removal (radial and femoral) – these two privileges may be the same
- Tracheostomy Care including Tube Change
- Management of Tension pneumothorax in Emergent Situation
- External pacing including adjusting temporary epicardial, transvenous, or transcutaneous pacemaker as necessary
- EMR:
- EPIC
- Board Certification:
- BC/BE Required
- Travel:
- Hospital will cover
- Credentialing timeline:
- Can fast track for ASAP start
- Requirements:
- Active MI state license or IMLC
- Active DEA in MI or willing to transfer
- ACLS
