Position Overview

Optigy is seeking a Board-Certified Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist for a locum opportunity in Hudson, FL. This role includes a blend of general diagnostic reads and interventional procedures within a busy, high-performing healthcare setting. The position offers a weekday schedule with rotating call and competitive hourly compensation.

Requirements

• Active Florida medical license and DEA

• Board Certified in Radiology

• Proficient in both diagnostic and interventional radiology

• Comfortable interpreting a broad range of modalities including CT, MRI, and ultrasound

• Must be able to perform all IR procedures on-site (procedure list available)

• Clean background required for temporary privileges

Responsibilities

• Perform a mix of diagnostic reads and interventional procedures

• Maintain a minimum productivity expectation of 45 RVUs per shift

• Collaborate with technologists and clinical staff to ensure efficient imaging operations

• Provide accurate and timely interpretations using PowerScribe 4.0 and RPCE tech systems

• Participate in the on-call rotation and holiday coverage as assigned

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM EST

• On-call: Yes (Q4 rotation)

• Holidays: 7 main holidays (remote on-call coverage)

• Start Date: December 1, 2025

• Trauma Level: II

• Overtime: Daily after 9 hours; Weekly after 168 hours

• Telehealth: No

• Credentialing Timeline: 90 days (temporary privileges available for clean files)
