Position Overview

Optigy is seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum coverage in Meridian, MS. This role offers flexible scheduling and an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department within a well-respected health system.

Requirements

• Active Mississippi medical license

• Active MS DEA

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM), Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine

• Completed ACGME or AOA-approved residency program

• Active clinical practice within the past 12 months (exceptions may be reviewed by the PEC & MEC)

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency medical care to patients of all ages

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records

• Collaborate with nursing and ancillary teams to ensure efficient patient flow

• Provide leadership and clinical excellence consistent with hospital standards

Additional Information

• Daily overtime applies after 12 hours; weekly OT after 168 hours

• On-call: No

• Telehealth: No

• Start Date: December 2, 2025
