Position: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Emergency Medicine

Overview:
Optigy is seeking experienced Advanced Practice Providers (Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants) to provide emergency care coverage in Hamilton, NY. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling, a collaborative emergency medicine environment, and the chance to serve a community-focused hospital with stable support services and modern EMR systems.

Key Details:

• Schedule: Flexible | Daily OT after 12 hours | Weekly OT after 168 hours

• Shifts: 7a–7p, 7p–7a

• Volume: Approx. 13,000 annual ED visits

• Patients per Day: ~35

• Trauma Level: None

• EMR: Epic

• Start Date: January 1, 2026 | 6-month minimum commitment

• Days to Credential: 45–60 days

• Reason: Full-Time Vacancy

• Privileging: Temps can be issued once core verifications are received (references, NPDB, background, education/training, etc.)

• Immunizations: Flu and PPD required (waivers considered)

• Orientation: Set up by PCC (includes EMR training and onboarding)

Requirements:

• Active New York Medical License and NY DEA

• Board Certification: ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA

• Current ACLS, PALS, and ATLS (AHA)

• Emergency Medicine experience preferred

• CME and case logs for the past 2 years
