Position Overview

Optigy is seeking an experienced Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner for a locum opportunity in Lima, OH. This position offers a flexible schedule in a collaborative inpatient environment, working alongside a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Requirements

• Active Ohio Nurse Practitioner license and Ohio DEA

• Current Board Certification (ANCC or AANP)

• ACLS certification required

• Minimum of 24 months of recent inpatient experience

• Must provide:

  • Active licensure and board certificates

  • Education diplomas

  • Current TB test, Driver’s License, Social Security card, and professional photo for badge

  • Collaborating Physician Agreement (SCA) on file

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient hospitalist care, including admissions, daily rounds, and discharge planning

• Collaborate with attending physicians to develop and implement patient care plans

• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions across diverse adult populations

• Document assessments, progress notes, and care plans accurately in the EMR

• Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and the clinical team

Position Details

• Start Date: November 1, 2025

• Schedule: Flexible 12-hour shifts

• On-call: None

• Telehealth: No

• Overtime: Daily after 12 hours; Weekly after 168 hours

• Credentialing Timeline: Variable (dependent on file completeness)
