Position: Full-Time Family Physician

Overview:
We are seeking a full-time, relationship-centered family physician to join our team at a new health center in Machesney Park, IL, in partnership with the Harlem Co. School District. We are looking for a primary care physician to lead our team, providing high-quality care to employees and their families.

Position Details:

• Patient Population: Employees and families of all ages, with a focus on acute and primary care, emphasizing preventive medicine
• Care Team: MD, Medical Assistant (MA), Registered Nurse (RN)
• Schedule: 40 hours per week, with a proposed schedule as follows:
  • Monday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
  • Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
  • Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
  • Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (4 hours)
  • No nights, no call, and no weekends

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $240,000 – $275,000 per year (negotiable based on experience and FTE)

Selling Points:

• Average of 8-14 patients per day
• More time spent with patients to build relationships and trust
• Less time spent on ICD-10 coding and administrative work, with built-in admin time

• Annual Visits: 60 minutes
  Follow-Up Visits: 30 minutes

Job Requirements:

• Education: MD or DO, board-certified (or eligible) in Family Medicine, or both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics
• Skills: Comfortable performing well-woman exams and prescribing birth control (a plus)
• Experience: Procedure experience (a plus)
