We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for an ongoing opportunity at a Level III Trauma Center in Indiana. This is a high-volume department seeing approximately 50,000 ED visits annually, with dedicated physician and APP coverage, scribe support, and specialty care capabilities.

• Advanced trauma capabilities

• 13 cardiac-monitor beds

• Opportunity to perform moderate sedation

Candidate Qualifications

• ABEM/AOBEM board certification preferred/required

• Current ABMS-recognized board certification may be considered with 5 years of continuous full-time experience in a high-volume ED seeing more than 30,000 visits annually

• New EM residency graduates within the past 12 months may be considered

• IM physicians may be considered with the required high-volume ED experience

• Active, unrestricted Indiana medical license

• Active Indiana Controlled Substance license

• Active DEA with an Indiana address

• BLS required

Credentialing Requirements

• Case logs for the past 2 years

• CME Attestation Form

• Current-season flu vaccination

• TB documentation from the past 12 months or qualifying chest X-ray documentation

• COVID vaccination

• 10-year claims history

• Indiana Patient’s Compensation Fund (IPCF) enrollment

Malpractice

Coverys malpractice coverage provided

• $500K/$1.5M coverage

• Indiana Patient’s Compensation Fund enrollment
