Position Overview

An excellent locum opportunity is available for a Breast Imaging + Diagnostic Radiologist seeking a consistent weekday schedule, a diverse imaging caseload, and a balanced mix of breast imaging and general diagnostic radiology.

Schedule & Workload

• Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM CST

• No holiday coverage required

• Productivity Expectation: 60 RVUs per shift

• Approximately 50-60% breast imaging, with general radiology reads between breast cases

Clinical Responsibilities

• Interpret diagnostic mammograms and breast MRI studies.

• Perform all breast imaging procedures.

• Interpret screening mammograms.

• Provide general diagnostic radiology reads between breast imaging cases, based on areas of comfort and expertise.

Expected Daily Case Volume

• 5-6 diagnostic mammograms

• 1-3 breast procedures

• 2-4 breast MRI studies

• Remaining volume consists primarily of screening mammograms

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible within the past 5 years

• Breast imaging expertise and proficiency with breast procedures

• Comfortable interpreting breast MRI and diagnostic mammograms

• Willingness to read general diagnostic radiology cases within areas of competency

• Temporary privileges are not available
