- Emergency Medicine
- Will take ABEM, ABIM, or ABFM with at least 2 years of ER experience
- Coverage Needs:
- Need ASAP – Ongoing
- Looking for days and nights
- Shifts:
- 6a-6p OR 6p-6a
- Setting:
- Stand-alone emergency hospital
- Handles minor to moderate trauma
- Transfers sent to Shreveport
- Must be comfortable stabilizing and transferring
- Census:
- 9 ED beds + 6 short-stay inpatient beds
- 20.5k annual volume
- Average 57 patients per day
- Support Staff:
- NPPA coverage: 10a-10p daily
- Procedures:
- All Standard ER procedures
- EMR:
- EPIC
- Board Certification:
- Board Certified Required
- Travel:
- Hospital will cover.
- Credentialing timeline:
- Expedited Onboarding hoping for ASAP start
- Requirements:
- Active LA state license or IMLC
- Active DEA and CDS in LA or willing to transfer
- ATLS, ACLS
