Job Description
Optigy Group
- Specialty:
- Pediatric Trauma Surgery NP or PA
- Coverage Needs:
- ASAP – Ongoing
- Staffing Shortage (3 Providers Needed)
- Shifts:
- 3 Twelve hour shifts each week with 4 hrs of admin time
- Can be flexible with weekly schedule
- Shifts are 6a-6p or 6p-6a
- Call:
- No
- Census:
- 7-10
- Support Staff:
- Full surgery team
- Procedures:
- Drain removal – chest tubes, surgically placed drains (i.e. – Blake, JP, Penrose)
- Gastric tube replacement
- Dilation of gastrostomy tracts
- Repair of simple lacerations
- Anal dilations
- Rectal irrigations
- First-assist in OR when needed
- EMR:
- Epic
- Voice Recognition
- Travel:
- Hospital will cover
- Credentialing timeline:
- 30-60
- Requirements:
- Prefer UT state licensed candidates but will take Nursing compact
