- Will take ABEM or ABIM/ABFM
- Coverage Needs:
- Need ASAP – Ongoing
- Must be able to cover 3+ shifts per month
- Must be open to days and nights
- Have 10-12 shifts per month to cover
- Shifts:
- 6a – 6p or 6p-6a
- Setting:
- Critical Access Hospital
- Level 3 trauma center
- Medium acuity
- Backup Specialties: Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Oncology, Podiatry, Surgery
- Census:
- 6 ED beds, 2 fast track, 4 ICU beds
- 19k annual ED volume
- Patients per day 45
- Support Staff:
- 24 hours of physician coverage daily
- NPA Shift Times: 9a-9p M-W, 10a-8p Th-F, 12p-8p Sat & Sun
- Procedures:
- All Standard ER procedures
- EMR:
- Cerner
- Board Certification:
- Board Certified Required
- Travel:
- Hospital will cover
- Credentialing timeline:
- Expedited Onboarding hoping for ASAP start
- Requirements:
- Active LA state license
- Active DEA in LA or willing to transfer
- ATLS, ACLS, PALS
