- Coverage Needs:
- ASAP – Ongoing
- Shifts:
- Weekday 6:30am start time – end time dependent upon OR case volumes
- On average MDAs work 12 hour shifts
- Setting:
- Outpatient Surgery Center
- Full-scope anesthesia care, including care to patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures
- Providers will work inpatient, but will cover both IP/OP surgeries as scheduled.
- NORA (Non-Operating Room Anesthesia)
- Census:
- Patient volume: 3 Rooms, maximum of 4 at one time, Physician Direction Model
- 20% Inpatient
- 80% Outpatient
- Support Staff:
- CRNAs – Care team model
- Supervising CRNAs is required
- Procedures:
- Procedures: All – Thoracic, Neuro, Cardio, Trauma, Peds, & OB
- EMR:
- Epic/Dragon
- Board Certification:
- Board Certified or eligibility required
- Travel:
- Facility will cover
- Credentialing timeline:
- Expedited Onboarding hoping for ASAP start
- Temp priveleges can be requested with clean background
- Requirements:
- Active MI state license or IMLC
- PALS and ACLS through American Heart Association
