Job Description

- Specialty:
- Hospitalist (Nocturnist)
- Coverage Needs:
- Need October – Ongoing
- 7 – 10 shifts per month
- Have a strong need for 12/23 – 1/3
- Shifts:
- 7p-7a
- Setting:
- Admitting shift only
- Open ICU model
- 391 beds
- Support:
- 2 Nocturnist per night
- 1-2 swing shift on until 11
- Will have teleheath support from Intensivists
- Resp therapy/IV team, etc
- Census:
- Avg 8 admissions/night (+4 pager calls)
- Procedures:
- Procedures not required
- Will need to manage ICU patients/attend codes
- EMR:
- EPIC w/ Dragon
- Board Certification:
- BC/BE Required
- Travel:
- Hospital will cover
- Credentialing timeline:
- Can fast track for ASAP start
- Requirements:
- Active NY state license
- Active DEA in NY or willing to transfer
- ACLS, BLS
