THE OPPORTUNITY

Provide Emergency Medicine coverage in a 16K-volume ED with 12-hour physician shifts and additional APP coverage.

This opportunity is open to qualified MD/DO physicians with Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine residency training who meet the facility’s board certification and credentialing requirements.

PHYSICIAN REQUIREMENTS

• MD or DO
• Board Certification Required
• Completion of an approved EM, FM, or IM residency
• Active, unrestricted Virginia Medical License
• DEA with Virginia address and required schedules
• 2 Years of Case Logs
• ACLS, ATLS and PALS required when applicable based on training/board status
• NRP required for non-ABEM providers
• New EM residency graduates within the past 12 months may be considered
• 3-month proctorship may apply to new graduates
