THE OPPORTUNITY

Step into an ongoing Emergency Medicine coverage need in Kaplan, Louisiana. The facility is seeking an MD/DO prepared to provide Emergency Department coverage and perform moderate and deep sedation.

Physicians with EM, FM or IM training may qualify, with additional certification requirements applying to physicians who are not Emergency Medicine trained.

PHYSICIAN REQUIREMENTS

• MD or DO
• Board Certification Required for Presentation
• Approved EM, FM or IM Residency Training
• Active Louisiana Medical License Required for Presentation
• Louisiana Controlled Substance Registration
• DEA with Louisiana Address + Required Schedules
• ACLS, ATLS + PALS required if not EM trained
• Moderate + Deep Sedation competency
• 2 Years of Case Logs
• 2 Years of CME Documentation
• Prior Travel Experience Required
• Fellowship Not Required
