10 Locum Tenens Opportunities | December 2026 – January 2027

Seeking experienced Emergency Medicine physicians for urgent locum tenens coverage in Florida! Multiple openings are available for December and January, with 10 physicians needed. ABEM-certified or board-eligible candidates are strongly preferred. Family Medicine and Internal Medicine physicians with Emergency Medicine experience will also be considered.

Position Highlights

• Coverage: December 2026 – January 2027

• Availability: November availability preferred

• Openings: 10 physicians needed

• Shift Length: 12-hour MD coverage

• Annual ED Volume: 36,000 visits

• ED Beds: 16

• EMR: Cerner

Qualifications & Requirements

Licensure & DEA

• Active, unrestricted Florida medical license required

• Active DEA with a Florida address

• DEA schedules II, IIN, III, IIIN, IV, and V required

Board Certification

• BE/BC Emergency Medicine preferred

• BE/BC Family Medicine or Internal Medicine accepted with Emergency Medicine experience

• AAPS/ABPS candidates will not be accepted

Required Certifications

• ACLS

• PALS

• ATLS (waived for ABEM-certified physicians)

Additional Requirements

• Must be comfortable performing all procedures listed on the DOP

• Flu vaccination within the past 12 months

• TB screening within the past 12 months

• COVID documentation

• Case logs from the past 2 years

• CME documentation from the past 2 years

Malpractice Coverage

• $1M/$3M
