CRNA LOCUM TENENS OPPORTUNITY

Seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for ongoing coverage opportunities within a busy, collaborative anesthesia department.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Active Massachusetts (MA) license REQUIRED
• Minimum 1 year of CRNA work experience
• CRNA certification required
• Board certification required
• Must be willing and able to work at BOTH primary hospital campuses in Worcester, MA
• Candidates must be flexible with working across multiple clinical locations
• Candidates interested in working exclusively at an ambulatory surgery center or endoscopy center will not be considered.

CLINICAL ENVIRONMENT & CASE MIX

CRNAs are integrated members of the Anesthesia Care Team and work in a medically supervised practice alongside physicians.

Broad exposure to multiple surgical specialties, including:

• Transplant
• ENT
• Trauma
• Neurosurgery
• Cardiac / Heart
• Orthopedics
• General Surgery
• OB

Practice Details:

• Approximately 160 clinical providers across the anesthesia department
• Approximately 8-12 CRNAs working at a time
• No Anesthesiologist Assistants (AAs) in the practice
• CRNAs do not perform regional anesthesia; procedures are performed by physicians.
• No call requirements.

• 24/7 coverage opportunities
• Available shift lengths:
  • 8-hour shifts
  • 10-hour shifts
  • 12-hour shifts
  • 16-hour shifts
  • 24-hour shifts
• Primary coverage needs are 10-hour and 12-hour shifts.
