Nurse Practitioner – Nephrology | Southern California | $165K+ Compensation | No Nights or Weekends

We’re seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a background or strong interest in Nephrology to join a highly regarded, value-based care organization serving patients across Southern California. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule, professional growth within a collaborative care model, and the satisfaction of making a difference in the lives of patients with chronic kidney disease and related conditions.

• Compensation: $133K–$166K base salary (commensurate with experience)

• Bonus Eligible: Annual performance-based bonus

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, no nights or weekends

• Work Model: Primarily outpatient, with coverage across multiple clinic sites in the region

• Patient Focus: Adults and geriatrics, including dialysis and chronic kidney disease populations

• Collaborative Culture: Work alongside physicians, RNs, case managers, and care coordinators

Your Role

• Perform comprehensive health assessments, physical exams, and risk evaluations

• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to guide care plans

• Formulate and document individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians

• Prescribe medications, therapies, and other treatments as appropriate

• Evaluate patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed

• Educate patients and families on disease management, prevention, and lifestyle modifications

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) required

• Minimum 2 years of NP experience, ideally with exposure to nephrology or internal medicine

• Current, unrestricted RN and NP licenses in California

• Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner

• Experience managing patients with chronic conditions strongly preferred

• Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus
