Years of Experience: 10+ years of recruiting and talent acquisition experience, with extensive experience in healthcare and physician recruitment.
Where Are You From: Greater St. Louis, Missour
Specialty Focus:
Professional Background: I have more than 10 years of recruiting and talent acquisition experience, with much of my career focused on connecting healthcare organizations with physicians and other highly skilled healthcare professionals. Over the years, I have recruited across a wide range of specialties and markets nationwide, with particular expertise in physician recruitment, outpatient primary care, value-based care, and senior-focused healthcare organizations. I have also worked on challenging specialty and leadership searches, giving me a strong understanding of both the clinical and personal factors physicians consider when making a career move.
Approach: I try to make the recruiting process feel less transactional and more like having someone in your corner throughout a career decision. I take the time to understand what is actually important to each candidate, including their career goals, family considerations, geographic preferences, compensation expectations, practice style, and long-term plans. Once we identify the right opportunity, I stay involved throughout the entire process. I help candidates understand the organization and position before they interview, prepare them for conversations with the hiring team, coordinate next steps, provide feedback, and make sure they know what to expect along the way. I also believe in being transparent. If I don't think an opportunity is the right fit, I would rather have that conversation upfront than push someone toward a position simply to make a placement. My goal is for candidates to feel like they have a knowledgeable advocate who understands the healthcare recruiting landscape, communicates consistently, and genuinely cares about helping them make the right career decision.
Fun Fact / Outside of Work: Outside of work, family is a huge part of my life, and I love spending time with my wife and young son. I’ve also been passionate about sports and competition for most of my life. I was a Division I track and field athlete at Southeast Missouri State University, have practiced martial arts across a variety of disciplines for nearly two decades, and have been skateboarding for three decades. I’m also an avid chess player and golfer, so whether it’s something physical or strategic, I’ve always enjoyed challenging myself, learning, and competing.
