Job Description

- Specialty:

- Coverage Needs:
- 8/17 – 11/15
- Shifts:
- 3 out of every 4 Weeks in outpatient clinic
- 8 hour shifts
- Work week will likely be 3 days in private offices and/or GI clinic at RUMC and 2 procedure days
- Call:
- 1 out of every 4 weeks (including weekend) working as a GI hospitalist/on Call
- Setting:
- Inpatient Coverage and elective Scoping
- Patient mix will be typical of a genral community based GI practice which will include GI, IBD, hepatobiliary, in addition to routine colorectal cancer screening
- Bed size 200
- Trauma Level 1
- Census:
- 8-10 procedures per day
- Support Staff:
- Anesthesiologists are available at both sites
- Procedures:
- Endoscopy
- Colonoscopy
- EMR:
- Meditech
- Board Certification:
- BC required
- Travel:
- Hospital will cover
- Credentialing timeline:
- Temps available
- Requirements:
- Active NY license
- Gastro Fellowship
- ACLS/BLS/PALS
