We’re seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician MD/DO for ongoing locum tenens coverage in Laredo, Texas. Providers will be cross-credentialed across a network that includes a Level III Trauma Center plus three freestanding Emergency Departments, offering a diverse mix of patient volumes and practice environments.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Work across an established Emergency Medicine network with four locations throughout Laredo.

The main hospital campus is a Level III Trauma Center seeing approximately 24,500 ED visits annually, with a 13-bed Emergency Department and access to extensive specialty support including ICU, Cath Lab, neurosurgery, pediatrics, orthopedics, OB/GYN, urology, psychiatry, and trauma services.

You’ll also have the opportunity to cover three freestanding Emergency Departments with annual volumes ranging from approximately 9,000 to 26,000 visits.

The result is a locums assignment offering clinical variety, consistent 12-hour shifts, APP support, and no call responsibilities.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• MD or DO
• Active Texas Medical License
• Active DEA
• ABEM Board Certification strongly preferred for network-wide coverage
• Emergency Medicine Experience
• ATLS + ACLS + PALS
• Comfortable Practicing Across Hospital-Based and Freestanding ED Settings
• Prior Locums/Travel Experience

Providers must be able to complete cross-credentialing for all four Emergency Department locations.
