HIGH-IMPACT OPPORTUNITY

Seeking Emergency Medicine physicians for locum coverage in Marshall, TX. This is a structured ED opportunity with strong physician and APP support, established shift coverage, and Epic EMR.

Providers must be willing to work at both Marshall and Kilgore locations within the same health system.

SCHEDULE & COVERAGE

Physician Coverage:

• Average 25 MD hours/day

• Locums may work 12-hour shifts when operationally needed

Physician Shifts:

• Monday: 7a-3p | 2p-10p | 9p-7a

• Tuesday-Friday & Sunday: 7a-2:30p | 2p-9:30p | 9p-7a

• Saturday: 7a-2p | 2p-9p | 9p-7a

APP Support:

• Average 11.43 NP/PA hours/day

• Sunday-Wednesday: 10a-10p

• Thursday-Friday: 10a-9p

• Saturday: 11a-9p

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• EM or FM residency trained

• Board certification accepted through ABEM, AOBEM, or ABFM

• ABFM physicians: Minimum 2 years of ED experience at facilities with annual ED volumes of 10,000+

• Alternative boards are not accepted

CERTIFICATIONS

• ATLS and ACLS required for non-boarded EM and FM physicians

• EM-boarded physicians do not need to maintain current ATLS once boarded

• EM-boarded physicians must have completed initial ATLS, but it does not need to be current

EMR & ONBOARDING

• Epic EMR

• Epic test-out available for providers who can demonstrate proficiency

• Epic training required if proficiency cannot be demonstrated

• On-site hospital orientation required

• Genesis modules required

• Fit test required

• OB Hypertension and Postpartum Hemorrhage training required through UpToDate

CREDENTIALING REQUIREMENTS

• Hepatitis B series or titer

• MMR series or titer

• Tdap within the last 10 years

• Varicella series or titer

• TB testing within the last year

• Flu vaccine required during flu season
